Lady’s bed socks

 

Beginner crochet patterns Materials: Corticelli Flosola Fingering Yarn, 2 balls blue, 1 ball white. One no. 7 Crochet hook.

Beginner crochet patterns Instructions:

ch. 49 sts., turn, skip 1, 1 s.c. in each of the 48 ch., ch. 1, turn.

2d row: 1 s.c. in each st. to end of row, taking up back half of st., ch. 1 turn.

Repeat 2d row until there are 34 ridges. Ch. 3, * and working down the side make 1 s.c. in top of each ridge, ch. 2 and repeat from * to end of row on side, turn, ch. 1, 2 s.c. in each space made by ch. Of 2 to end of row, break off wool; repeat on other side.

Joining sock: With blue 1 s.c. in 1st st., * ch. 3, skip 1st st. on other side, make s.c. in 2d st., ch. 3 across back to first side, skip 1 st. and make s.c. in next st.; repeat from * to end of row.

With white, 1 s.c. in 1st st. on side opposite, * ch. 3 across back to other side and make s.c. in st. that was skipped before; repeat from * to end of row of this beginner crochet patterns project.

For toe: With blue work in rounds of s.c., make 52 s.c. in 1st round, make 2 more rounds, 1 s.c. in each st., then make 3 rounds, decreasing 1 st. every 3d s.c., then decrease 1 st. every 2d st. until only 5 sts. Are left. Break off wool and sew in point.

Around top of sock, 1 d.c., ch. 2, repeat in every 3d st., then make a shell of 4 d.c. in each space with a picot between the 2d and 3d d.c. and fasten with a s.c. in next space; repeat all around.

Draw ribbon through holes at top and tie; trim with bow at toe.
