Ladys’ bed socks

Crochet easy free patterns: Only one seam, and that in the back, is one reason why these socks are very comfortable.

Materials: Corticelli Knitola Fingering Yarn, 3 balls. One no. 7 crochet hook.

Instructions:

Ch. 13sts. Work 11 h.d.c on chain, on 12th st. put 2 h.d.c. work 12 h.d.c down the other side of chain. From there on, work round and round, working the h.d.c in between the h.d.c of previous rows instead of on top and making 2 h.d.c. between the 2 h.d.c of previous row, for 24 rows all together.

25th row: Leave 11 sts. At center or 5 sts. Each side of the widening at top of foot and work back and forth on the remaining 36 sts., chaining 2 at the turn, for 12 rows.

37th row: Work back on 15 sts. For 6 rows and join to other side of work and across bottom with sl.st in between each h.d.c of last row.

Around to of sock work 4 rows of h.d.c., putting 2 in the center of the 2 of previous row. Make 1 row of 3 ch. Catching with sl.st in between h.d.c of last row.
