Crochet Flower Pattern Instructions:

ch. 7, join in circle. Ch.1, 8 s.c. in circle, join.

2d row: ch.9, t. in first s.c., *ch. 5, t. in next s.c., repeat from * until there are 8 t., counting the first 5 ch. As one t., ch.5, join to 5th st. of 1st 9 ch.

3d row: ch.1, 2 s.c. over 4 ch., ch.22, t. into 8th st. from hook, ch.1, d.t. in next 2d ch., ch. 1, 1. t. (thread around hook four times) into next 2d ch., ch.1, 1.t. into next 2d ch., ch.1, d.t. into next 2d ch., ch.1, t. into next 2d ch. 1, d.c. into next 2d ch., ch.3 join to 1st st. after the 2 d.c. on ring, carry thread under petal and hook over, work 3 s.c. over 3 ch., 2 s.c. into each 1 ch. Space to tip of petal, 8 s.c. over 8 ch., 2 s.c. into each 1 ch. Space down other side, 3 s.c. over last 3 ch., join, 2 s.c. over 2 ch. Section of center, p. over t., 2 s.c. into next section of center, and repeat petals all around, making 8 in all, with p. between each two.

After last section of center is filled work 7 sl. Sts. On side of 1st petal to 3d bar, then work *1 s.c. into each of the next 8 s.c., p, 4 s.c. to top of point, p., 4 s.c. down opposite side, p., 8 s.c., carry thread across and join to next petal and repeat from * until the flower is complete, joining the last petal to the first one with a sl.
